What is permanent timeshare exchange or deed exchange?

This is a process where timeshare owners wishing to permanently trade their timeshare are matched to other timeshare owners, whose area of interest and property to trade match a trade request. Upon final confirmation, both trade parties exchange timeshare ownership.

Once presented with a trade, how much time do I have before making a decision?

We understand that this is an important decision.Timeshare2Swap presents trading parties, with opportunities to make an informed decision. For example, there are specific details on the trade options and a resort link to view the property. Also during the process,there are opportunities to place a message to the other party, asking specific questions about their timeshare. Once you continue in the trade process on a property match that meets your interest,you will also be advised that you must confirm via an e-mail link sent to you that you wish to proceed with the trade.This is another way to give you more time to consider the trade.Once you have confirmed the trade via this link ,the other party will be notified.This will be considered a trade in progress. Once the other party has accepted, (please be patient),then both parties will be notified of the completed trade.As you can see, the program is designed to give you enough time to make the right decision. Please keep in mind that you will have 48 hours to respond to a request or the system will automatically register no response as a decline.

What if I find a suitable match but the other trade party is not wishing the area where my resort is located?

You will have the ability to highlight the benefits of your property by directly e-mailing the other trade party. A representative will call the other trade party and ask them to reconsider their decline.

Registration:

What does free account registration mean?

Timeshare owners can open a personal account on Timeshare2Swap, and may save posted trade wishes, enter a property registration, and review the trade options presented.

When is it necessary to pay the $49.95 match process fee?

The match process fee must be paid before you can proceed to move forward and actually initiate a trade option.

Can I make a wish without registering, a property or paying the match process fee.

In order to post a wish and save a wish you must use the free account registration. Also, should you see a property you wish to trade for and want to complete the trade process,you will need to register a week in the system. Since properties go quickly, we suggest you register. In addition, another party may request your property and if you are not registered you will not be able to follow through on a trade request. Consequently,In order to enjoy the full benefits we suggest you register.

How many trade wishes, can I make?

The more trade wishes you make, the more trade options are presented for you to consider. Please focus on the select areas that interest you.

Where in the system do I conduct business?

You will be able to register a property, make trade wishes,see your trade options, ask questions and complete the trade process under "my account".

What happens when I am READY2TRADE ?

Once you have identified a trade option you like and continue, you will receive an e-mail to confirm and validate your interest in the trade. If you have not paid the match process fee then before you can proceed, you will need to do so by going to PayPal to initiate payment. If you do not confirm,then we will assume you have decided not to proceed further and have declined. If you do confirm and have paid your registration fee both parties will be e-mailed confirmations and will wait for the other party to respond.

Accept/decline:

What happens if I accept a trade request in progress?

If you accept a trade request in progress, you will be sent an e-mail, which will require you to confirm your interest in trading with the requesting trade party. If you do decline both properties will be available to proceed again. Upon acceptance by both parties a Final Confirmation will be sent with closing instructions.

Can I decline, my already accepted trade?

Yes, both parties will be notified of the decline, however Timeshare2Swap will have fulfilled its trade match service. To initiate another trade, it will be necessary to re-register. Please refer to the trade agreement for additional details.
